Steve’s experience includes projects on local roads, State routes and interstate highways, for cities, counties, regional transportation authorities and Caltrans. His experience includes significant work directly and indirectly for Caltrans Headquarters Structures and Districts, and has routinely involved the application of Caltrans procedure, policies, practices, standards and codes. In addition, Steve has delivered numerous projects with Federal and other special funding components, such as the bridge seismic retrofit program, Federal Highway Bridge Program (rehabilitation, replacement and bridge preventive maintenance) and Proposition 1B. Steve’s broad design and management experience includes the following project phases and elements:
